HABITO

When you dive into the world of Lia Cohen, you will find art, and that was the motivation behind creating the brand’s biggest project to date. HABITO
goes beyond fashion; it sheds light on the challenges women face, such as the pressure to meet social standards or the feeling of being judged by
stereotypes, inspiring them to embrace their true selves and live freely in their authenticity.

This project originates from the brand's Spring/Summer 2024 collection and includes various elements, such as the Habito Fashion & Art Performance, a
fusion of theater and contemporary dance written and directed by Tatiana Palomo. The stage was transformed into a home, with each piece designed by
Lia Cohen in collaboration with exceptional local artisans, simultaneously launching the Lia Cohen Home collection. An immersive experience and an
emotionally touching performance that invited people to explore their complex inner selves and transported the audience into the universe of Lia Cohen.

The most significant creation of the project was transforming the live performance into the short film El Mundo Que Habito (The World I Live In), directed
by the renowned Guatemalan filmmaker Jayro Bustamante, with a soundtrack by singer and songwriter Gaby Moreno. The short film won several awards at
the Seattle International Film Festival 2024, including Audience Choice, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress, and Best Choreography. It was also nominated
for Best Message at the UK Fashion Film Festival 2024.

Every aspect of HABITO reflected the collective effort and passion of the artists from various industries involved in the project.

“I would love to invite you to navigate my mind. To discover my world. Where I live freely. For me, that is the the most real and safe place.
A place where I exist. Where harmony and melancholy dance together. Where I am surrounded by beauty and femininity inspires me to create.
How would I love that this world would be as real for you as it is for me. Come and let your soul shine the way mine shines in this world.
Filled with love. Come and enter this place full of light and little by little you will feel lighter and judgment will end. You will see the whole
potential of your beautiful soul. I wish you could join me. Would you?”
